GS3 : Graphic State Notation 3 Software is a 32-bit Windows program designed to allow experimenters to create interactive experiment-control protocols for behavioral experiments using state logic. It is a conceptual extension and major improvement of state notation languages of the past. If you have used other state notation software before, you will move easily into using the Graphic State program. You'll find a new elegance in state notation with robust power and incredible simplicity.

Habitest Rat Test Cage set up for a complex procedureHabitest Modular System: A modular animal behaviour system comprised of arenas (cages or working areas) which accept slide-in stimulus presentation modules, response sensing modules and accessories.

Arenas include two modular operant test cages
The shuttle cage - a large one for rats, pigeons and other similar sized animals and a smaller one for mice, gerbils etc. - suitable for operant studies, feeding, drinking and other tests.
The Passive Avoidance cage - large and small - for use in active and passive avoidance studes as well as place-prefernce and other applications.

Slide-in stimulus-response modules include auditory and visual stimuli, liquid, pellet and dry-bulk feeders, levers, nose poke sensors, an activity monitor and dozens of other devices. Hubs may be also used a multi-bay test cages to hold more stimulus-response modules than the cages and to present a radical rather than a flat array.
